Mega Amelya
Mycology Program Manager

Mega is a mycology enthusiast with a strong interest in documenting mushroom and slime mold (myxomycetes) diversity. She is currently a doctoral student at Tottori University, Japan, with research focusing on fungal taxonomy, life cycles, mushroom cultivation, and mushroom breeding.

She completed her bachelor's degree in Biology at Bogor Agricultural University, where she developed her interest in mycology through fieldwork and laboratory research.

In the future, she hopes to uncover the richness of undescribed fungal species in Indonesia through extensive field observations.
