Faiz Nashiruddin Muhammad
Terrestrial Invertebrates Program Manager

Faiz is an entomologist specializing in insect ecology and taxonomy, with a focus on agricultural systems. His research explores the diversity, roles, and interactions of insects in tropical agroecosystems, particularly how land-use changes affect both pest and beneficial species. He has a strong interest in myrmecology and participated in the AntCourse 2023 held in Malaysia, organized by ANeT—an international network for the study of ants in Asia. With expertise in insect identification, he contributes to biodiversity assessments and sustainable pest management through research, fieldwork, and collaboration to promote biodiversity-friendly farming.
